Hello! I’m Heidi!
I have lived in rural Minnesota my whole life and enjoy spending as much time outside as our short summer season allows with my husband and two children. I love to drink coffee in the morning while admiring my garden or in the winter working on a puzzle or reading a good book. I enjoy discovering and cooking new recipes and I love to bake anything involving bread dough!
Before having kids, I worked for a low-income child care program using my degree in Early Childhood working with parents and their children. Not only has that experience helped me in raising my own children, but the daily challenges helped me learn to try new things, brainstorm new ideas and encourage and empower others.
I am very detail oriented but can flex and bend to meet needs. I am very go with the flow and spur of the moment! I am willing to help when there is a need and will jump in and try something, even if it doesn’t work the first time, I am willing to try again a different way. I’m often questioning how something works and why and if there’s a better way that makes sense I’m willing to investigate it!
I enjoy graphic design for things like social media content using my creative abilities for promoting information and ideas while keeping things organized and creating systems that make things easier.
I love the flexibility I have as a VA because I can work from home which allows me to still put my family first as we homeschool our children and enjoy the slow, quiet life of being at home in our little home in the woods.
