My name is Melissa-Jane, the founder of Adventures in Business Solutions. Together with our five children, my husband and I live on a small island on the east coast of Canada, where we find JOY growing our food, harvesting our firewood and milking our cows.
I was born in Quebec, Canada and raised in a big beautiful bilingual English-French family. Following my studies in Sociology at Bishop’s University, I found myself immersed in the beauty of motherhood. Wearing all the hats is the name-of-the-game when it comes to being a mom. Cook, baker, nurse, singer, farmer, milkmaid, teacher, and bookkeeper, to name a few. This ability to juggle a multitude of things is what brought me to start Adventures in Business Solutions. I understand the need for help, the desire to get things done and the difficulty in realizing there are a finite amount of hours in a day.
I am a planner and scheduler at heart and I LOVE to get things done! Being able to pivot with ease, whether it’s owning a business, motherhood, farming, or having a last-minute change to a project or schedule, is key to moving forward and accomplishing tasks efficiently and without any added worry.
